Job Search Branding "Keywords"

One secret I learned during my own job search was to come up with three key words that described briefly and in a compelling way,  who I was and kind of what my strengths are. My three key words for my job search were builder, evangelist, and coach.  I came up with that through some real inner reflection about my job history how do I behave  on the job and what are some of my strengths?

And I kind of boiled those down into three memorable interesting key words and then I put those on my resume, my cover letter , in my header of my LinkedIn. And then I was able to talk about those and why I'm a builder, evangelistic, and coach during my interview process as well. And so I really helped people understand that I knew myself and that I had some strengths and that I could really come up with creative ways of describing myself.

Which also means that I could creatively work on their business, and so it really does help to come up with three keywords for your own job search.
